Some do. Shedding in a doodle comes down mostly to two genes: furnishings (the gene behind the beard and eyebrows) and the shedding gene. A puppy with two copies of furnishings and a low-shedding result will shed very little, about like a Poodle. A puppy with one copy of furnishings can shed lightly. A puppy with none has a flat coat and sheds like a Golden Retriever. We test every parent and only make pairings where every puppy gets two copies of furnishings, so our puppies are low to non-shedding. No dog is truly hypoallergenic, though. If someone in your home has allergies, come spend an hour with the parents before you commit.
