Juniper Lane started in 2017 with one dog and a street name. I'm Hannah. My husband Drew and I were renting a house on Juniper Lane when Sadie, our medium Goldendoodle, had her first litter in the dining room. Two years later we moved to five acres in northern Wake County, and the name came with us.
We breed mini and medium multigenerational Goldendoodles, registered with the Goldendoodle Association of North America (GANA). Multigen means both parents are Goldendoodles, several generations deep. We went that direction because it lets us test for coat traits and predict adult size, which a first-generation cross can't do with any reliability.

Honey × Huck
Born August 4, 2026
Six puppies, three boys and three girls, born August 4. Huck is 26 pounds and Honey is 38, so we expect adults between 28 and 38 pounds: large minis and small mediums. Both parents are red-based, which means every puppy is apricot or red. Coats in this litter run from loose waves to soft curls. Every puppy has two copies of furnishings, and all six will be low to non-shedding. We evaluated the litter at 6 weeks and made matches last week. Four puppies are spoken for. Two waitlist families chose to hold for a smaller litter, which leaves the blue collar boy and the yellow collar girl available. They go home September 29.

Health Guarantee
Every puppy comes with a two-year written guarantee against life-altering genetic conditions, including hip and elbow dysplasia and every inherited disease we test the parents for. If your veterinarian confirms a covered condition, we refund up to the full purchase price or offer a puppy from a later litter, your choice, and you keep your dog. We ask for a vet visit within 72 hours of pickup. We will also take back any Juniper Lane dog, at any age, for any reason.

Guardian homes
Our breeding dogs live as family pets with guardian families near Raleigh, not in a kennel. They come to us to whelp and go back home when the puppies leave.
Published health testing
OFA hips, elbows, patellas, heart and eyes, plus a full DNA panel on every parent. You get copies of every certificate before you place a deposit.
Coat testing
We test furnishings, curl and the shedding gene on every parent, so we can tell you what coat a pairing will produce and how much it is likely to shed.
Matched by temperament
We evaluate each litter at 6 weeks and match puppies to families based on your household, your schedule and your experience with dogs.

Straight answers.
Some do. Shedding in a doodle comes down mostly to two genes: furnishings (the gene behind the beard and eyebrows) and the shedding gene. A puppy with two copies of furnishings and a low-shedding result will shed very little, about like a Poodle. A puppy with one copy of furnishings can shed lightly. A puppy with none has a flat coat and sheds like a Golden Retriever. We test every parent and only make pairings where every puppy gets two copies of furnishings, so our puppies are low to non-shedding. No dog is truly hypoallergenic, though. If someone in your home has allergies, come spend an hour with the parents before you commit.
A guardian home is a local family who raises one of our breeding dogs as their own pet. We pay for health testing and all breeding-related vet care. The dog comes to us for a few days when she's bred and again for about nine weeks to whelp and raise her litter, and the family visits as often as they like. Dams have no more than four litters and are then spayed at our cost, and the family owns her outright from that point on. We are usually looking for one or two guardian families a year within an hour of Raleigh.
We follow GANA's size ranges. Minis stand over 14 and under 17 inches at the shoulder and usually weigh 26 to 35 pounds. Mediums stand 17 to 21 inches and usually weigh 36 to 50 pounds. Every litter page lists the parents' weights and the adult range we expect. Pairing a mini with a medium gives a wider range than pairing two dogs of the same size, and we will tell you so.
An F1 Goldendoodle is a Golden Retriever crossed with a Poodle. An F1b is an F1 crossed back to a Poodle. A multigen has two Goldendoodle parents and is at least three generations from the original cross. By that point we can test and select for coat, size and temperament, so litters are far more consistent than an F1 litter.
